Bio: I lead the Azure IaaS SQL Server support team at Microsoft. I also lead engineers supporting the SQL Server Engine. My team works on the front line of some of the most interesting, complex and diverse issues faced by developers, DBAs and ...actually, anyone utilizing SQL Server virtual machines in the cloud. I love introducing people to SQL Server and am constantly looking for ways to make training efficient and fun. I cut my teeth on Microsoft SQL Server version 6.5 and earned my MCSE (NT/SQL65&TCP/IP) waaay back in 1999. I'm a speaker at SQL Saturday, a wife, mother of three, and an avid Gone With the Wind fanatic.
